Born and raised in our nation’s capital, Washington DC, Carmelita Marcia Cutler graduated from Frostburg State University with a BS in Mass Communications, concentrating in Advertising and PR. After graduating, Carmelita went to work in corporate advertising, servicing former clients as NY Giants; Walmart; and Howard University. Ms. Cutler then decided to pursue her MBA and came to Atlanta for graduate school. After graduate school, Carmelita then followed her creative passion for Fashion – working in Wardrobe Styling in the Fashion Industry as Assistant Stylist to WWD and styling backstage for NY Fashion Week shows. After Styling and working for SAKS; a few bridal designers; and SteinMart retailer in Visual Merchandising, Carmelita enrolled at the infamous F.I.T. for Accessory Design thus starting her handbag line – Carmelita Marcia under her accessory company – Accessories a GOGO.

Carmelita then decided Interior Design was calling her and got her feet wet working for West Elm in DC as one of their top furniture associates. Upon leaving, Carmelita Marcia Cutler, returned to Atlanta to work for Robert Allen /Duralee Showrooms @ Atlanta’s design Haven – ADAC! There Carmelita assisted clients with their fabric selections; purchase orders; and space planning. Carmelita also took courses at NYSD (New York School of Interior Design) and decided to finish up @ Emory in their Home Staging program. Meeting Christina Berry in class and attending different trade events together, the two decided to join forces and start C&C Interior Design Specialists!

Now with 14 years of Interior Design experience, Carmelita Marcia still Lives, Eats, and Breaths Fashion and Interior Design!

Born in Savannah, GA, Christina Berry got her feet wet in the world of ART, having worked in the Art Department at the prestigious SCAD University – Savannah campus. Christina prides herself in knowing a thing or to with color theory and patterns!

After leaving SCAD, Christina went into the healthcare industry in dental hygiene. After years of working for dentists, Ms. Berry took her passion for Interior Design and Decorating and started her Organizing company – decluttering client’s homes and offices to create a livable and workable environment. In 2024, Christina enrolled in Emory University’s Interior Decorating & Home Staging program and obtained her certificate while Carmelita was enrolled in the program too. Thus, after graduating the two formed C&C Interior Design Specialists, LLC bringing their interior design expertise and home staging to Atlanta and Savannah residents!

Carmelita and Christina bring 18 years of experience in interior design, consistently impressing clients throughout the process. They ensure every client's unique needs are met with precision and elegance, creating beautiful, functional spaces.
